Job Summary

The HR Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day human resource operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll support, compliance, performance management, training coordination, and employee engagement. The role ensures smooth HR processes while supporting faculty and non-teaching staff in alignment with the college's policies and educational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process for teaching and non-teaching staff, including job postings, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records, personal files, and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in payroll processing, attendance management, leave administration, and statutory compliance.
  • Coordinate employee induction and orientation programs.
  • Support performance appraisal processes and maintain appraisal documentation.
  • Organize staff training, workshops, and professional development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, institutional policies, and government regulations.
  • Handle employee grievances and support conflict resolution.
  • Prepare HR reports, MIS, and documentation for audits and accreditation requirements.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities, welfare programs, and recognition initiatives.
  • Support disciplinary procedures and maintain related records.
  • Assist management in implementing HR policies and organizational development initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resource Management is preferred.
  • 2–5 years of HR experience, preferably in an educational institution.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and statutory compliance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRMS software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

  • Strong documentation and report preparation skills.
